• Ethernet connector
Used to connect an Ethernet cable for a LAN.
Note: To operate the computer within Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Class B limits, use a
Category 5e or better Ethernet cable.
• Integrated camera shield control slider
Used to block the integrated camera.
• Microphone-mute button
Used to mute or unmute the microphones.
• Optical drive eject/close button
Used to eject the tray of the optical drive from the drive. After you insert a disc into the tray, press
the eject/close button to close the tray.
• Power button
Used to turn on your computer. You also can use the power button to turn off your computer only when

• Power cord connector
