Replace a Recorder on a Rimage Producer II
2. Disconnect the cables from the back of the recorder.
•
FireWire cable (Qty. 1 or 2, depending on recorder position)
•
Power cable
Important! If you are replacing multiple recorders, note the cable configuration before disconnecting the
cables. You will need to match this configuration when you install the new recorders.
Autostar II or Protégé II
3. Open the front door.
4. Raise the lift arm to the top of the Producer II.
5. Remove the recorder from the front of the Producer II.
a. Loosen the screws (Qty. 2) that hold the
recorder.
Note: The recorder is mounted in one of
two ways.
•
For a recorder with thumbscrews,
loosen the screws by hand.
•
For a recorder with Torx T10
mounting screws (Qty. 2), loosen the
screws using a Torx T10 screwdriver.
