Replace the Gripper Board Assembly on a Rimage Producer System
Use this procedure to replace the gripper board assembly in an Autostar II™, Protégé II™, Amigo II™, AutoPrinter II™,
Producer 7100™, Producer 8100™, Producer 7100N™, or Producer 8100N™.
Rimage approved parts must be used for this process. The product warranty may become void if parts not approved by Rimage are
used; equipment or parts are tampered with, misused, neglected, or modified in any respect without the written consent of Rimage.
Notes:
Your system may not look exactly like the system pictured.
The term "Producer" is used throughout this document to refer to the Autostar II, Protégé II, Amigo II, AutoPrinter II,
Producer 7100, Producer 8100, Producer 7100N, and Producer 8100N.
Before you begin
1.
Stop or pause all jobs.
2.
Power off the external or embedded control
center.
3.
Power off the Producer.
4.
Disconnect the power cord from the power outlet.
Remove the Gripper Board Assembly
1.
Access the lift arm.
If the system has a printer cover, remove the
printer cover.
If the system has a top access cover, open the
top access cover.
2.
Open the front door.
3.
Remove the carousel.
4.
If there is a flex-cable clip on the lift
arm, remove the flex-cable clip by
pulling it upward.
Note: If there is no flex-cable clip,
continue with step 5.

Torx T10 screwdriver
Torx T15 screwdriver
