Rimage Producer Family™ Align a Recorder
Use this procedure to align a recorder in a Autostar II™, Protégé II, Amigo II™, AutoPrinter II™, Producer
7100™, Producer 8100™, Producer 7100N™, Producer 8100N™.
The product warranty may become void if equipment or parts are tampered with, misused, neglected, or modified in
any respect without the written consent of Rimage.
The following procedures describe how to correct the most common types of misalignments.
Important! Only adjust the alignment if the system is having trouble picking and releasing discs.

Before you begin

Required tools: Torx T10 screwdriver
Align a recorder
1. Power on the autoloader.
2. Open the front door. The lift arm is at the top of the
autoloader.
Note: The lift arm color may be white or black.
3. While pressing the disc release button, press a disc
onto the gripper.
4. Press the recorder button to open the recorder tray.
5. Slowly lower the lift arm until the disc makes slight
contact with the recorder tray. The disc should be
centered in the recorder tray.
Tip: On a Producer III or Producer IIIN, to look
down on the lift arm, open the top access cover.
6. Raise the lift arm and disc out of the way of the
recorder tray.
7. Press the recorder button to close the recorder tray.
