14 - Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble with the operation of this unit, please check
the following before seeking repair. If these measures do not solve the
problem, please contact the store where you bought the unit or TASCAM
customer support service.
Power will not turn on
Confirm that batteries are installed correctly.
The unit turns off automatically
Turn off the automatic power off function. To turn it ON/OFF, press the
MENU button and use the 15: POWER SAVE item.
The microSD card is not recognized.
Confirm that the microSD card is inserted completely.
Recording is not possible
Confirm that the microSD card has enough open space.
Recording becomes impossible when the total number of files reaches
1000.
The remaining charge of the batteries is not shown accurately
Set the type of battery being used because the remaining battery
charge is monitored according to the battery type.
The indicator of the AK-BT1 Bluetooth adapter does not light.
This unit does not have a function that lights the indicator of the AK-BT1
Bluetooth adapter.
