Setting TEXT
These 6 characters can be set by the user as desired.
Setting items (default value underlined)

When the Home Screen is open, press the MENU button to open
the Menu Screen.

Use the . [j] and / [k] buttons to select 13: TEXT, and
press the 7'9 [ENTER] button.
3.
Press the 7'9 [ENTER] button to move the cursor from left to
right one character at a time.
4.
Use the . [j] and / [k] buttons to change the character at
the cursor position.
In addition to the alphabet and numbers, the following characters
can be used:
! # $ % & '( ) + , - . ; = @ [ ] ^ _ ` { } ~

When the cursor is at the character on the far right, press the
7'9 [ENTER] button to confirm the file name and return to the
Menu Screen.
NOTE
o To use the set characters for file names, the Menu Screen 12: FILE
NAME item must be set to TEXT.
o Using more or less than 6 characters is not possible.
TIP
When using more than one of these units, you can set the file name
in advance to identify which units were used to record files. This can
be convenient when editing files.

Setting the file number
The file number that will be used the next time a file is created can be
set.
Setting items (default value underlined)

When the Home Screen is open, press the MENU button to open
the Menu Screen.

Use the . [j] and / [k] buttons to select 16: FILE NUMBER,
and press the 7'9 [ENTER] button.
3.
Press the 7'9 [ENTER] button to move the cursor from left to
right one digit at a time.
4.
Use the . [j] and / [k] buttons to change the number at
the cursor position.
5.
When the cursor is at the digit on the far right, press the 7'9
[ENTER] button to confirm the file number and return to the Menu
Screen.
The set file number will be enabled from the next recording.
NOTE
o If a file with the same name and number already exists at the time of
recording, "[---]" will be added after the file number. (--- is a three-dig-
it number from 001 to 999.)
o If the METADATA function has been turned on using the dedicated
control app, "Not Available" will be shown when 16: FILE NUMBER is
selected and the 7'9 [ENTER] button is pressed.
File format overview
The recording format is added to the name of the recorded audio file.
.wav: WAV format used for recorded audio file
.mp3: MP3 format used for recorded audio file
The factory default setting is WAV format.

change recording format.
