7.2 EzDMC connection procedure

After the PCI-DMC card and the connecting modules (such as the servo drive and motor) are set

up, follow these testing procedures to use EzDMC to test the serial connection functions:
1. Start EzDMC.
2. Find the PCI-DMC card. (Refer to Section 7.3.)
3. Find the connecting expansion modules. (Refer to Section 7.4.)
4. Connect the expansion modules to the single-axis and multi-axis serial motion control
functions. (Refer to Sections 7.6 and 7.7.)
5. Finish the operation of expansion modules.
6. Reset the PCI-DMC card. (Refer to Section 7.9.)
7. End EzDMC.

7.3 Find PCI-DMC card

Scan the main control device by clicking Initialize to find the PCI-DMC card. This defines the
number and configurations of all PCI motion cards in the system, as shown in the following figure.
After the scanning process is complete, the status of the found devices and the number and
configurations of the master cards are displayed on the device list.
If no PCI-DMC cards are found, the system shows the following error message.
