2. Verify that the mode select jumper is set to enable CD-ROM ejection.
3. Connect the drive rails to the CD-ROM drive (release latches to the front) using the
four M3x4 screws (two on each side).
4. Gently push the CD-ROM drive into its face-plate slot until the drive snaps in place.
5. Connect power cable P5 (label up), the data cable, and the audio cable to the CD-
ROM drive.
6. Replace the computer's right-side panel (refer to section 4.2.2.) and front bezel (refer
to section 4.2.8.), as viewed from the rear.
7. Connect the power cord and all external cables to the computer and turn on the power.

Floppy Disk Drive (FDD)

This section covers the removal and replacement of the computer's floppy disk drive.

Removing the FDD

To remove the computer's FDD, perform the following procedure and refer to Figures 4-23
and 4-24.
1. Turn off power to the computer, then disconnect the power cord and all external
cables connected to the computer.
2. Remove the computer's right-side panel (refer to section 4.2.1.), left-side panel (refer
to section 4.2.5.) and front bezel (refer to section 4.2.7.), as viewed from the rear.
