Procedure 3
The purpose of this procedure is to determine if a specific expansion card is causing the
problem with the InTouch™ Module. To perform this procedure, begin with Check 1 and
continue as instructed.
Check 1 Reinstall the expansion cards one at a time and test after each card is installed
(refer to sections 4.4. and 4.5. as necessary).
If the problem still exists, perform Procedure 4. If the problem no longer exists,
perform Check 2.
Check 2 (A) Reinstall all the expansion cards (refer to sections 4.4. and 4.5. as necessary).
(B) Test the InTouch ™ Module to determine if the problem still exists.
If the problem still exists, perform the Problem Definition Process. If the problem
no longer exists, perform Check 3.
Check 3 Determine if the original problem still exists.
If the original problem still exists, perform the Problem Definition Process. If the
original problem no longer exists, perform the Repair Completion Process.
Procedure 4
The purpose of this procedure is to determine if replacing the defective expansion card solves
the original problem. To perform this procedure, perform the following Check.
Check (A) Replace the expansion card suspected of causing the problem (refer to sections
4.4. and 4.5. as necessary). (B) Test the InTouch™ Module to determine if the
original problem still exists.
If the original problem still exists, perform the Problem Definition Process. If the
original problem no longer exists, perform the Repair Completion Process.
Procedure 5
The purpose of this check is to determine if the CD-ROM player operational software
operates properly. Properly operating CD-ROM player software could indicate a defective
InTouch™ Module. To perform this procedure, perform the following Check.
Check Test the CD-ROM player operational software to determine if the CD-ROM drive
is operating properly.
If the CD-ROM player software operates properly, perform Procedure 8. If this
software does not operate properly, perform the CD-ROM Troubleshooting
Process.
