Procedure 5
The purpose of this procedure is to determine if the CD-ROM button on the InTouch™
Module operates properly. To perform this procedure, perform the following Check.
Check Determine if the CD-ROM player operates properly when the CD button on the
InTouch™ Module is engaged (recessed).
If the CD-ROM player operates properly when the CD-ROM button on the Module
is engaged, perform Procedure 6. If the CD-ROM player does not operate properly
when this button is engaged, perform Procedure 5 in the InTouch ™ Module No
LCD Display Troubleshooting Process.
Procedure 6
The purpose of this procedure is to determine if the modem button on the InTouch™ Module
operates properly. To perform this procedure, perform the following Check.
Check Determine if the telephone and answering machine operate properly when the
modem button on the InTouch™ Module is engaged.
If the telephone and answering machine operate properly when the modem button
on the Module is engaged, perform Procedure 7. If the telephone and answering
machine do not operate properly when the modem button on the Module is
engaged, perform Procedure 6 in the InTouch™ Module No LCD Display
Troubleshooting Process.
Procedure 7
The purpose of this procedure is to determine if the TV/Radio button on the InTouch™
Module operates properly. To perform this procedure, begin with Check 1 and continue as
instructed.
Check 1 Determine if the television or the radio operates properly when the TV/Radio
button on the InTouch™ Module is engaged.
If the television or the radio operates properly when the TV/Radio button on the
Module is engaged, perform Check 2. If the television or the radio does not
operate properly when the TV/Radio button on the Module is engaged, perform
Procedure 7 in the InTouch™ Module No LCD Display Troubleshooting Process.
Check 2 Determine if the original problem still exists.
If the original problem still exists, contact Toshiba technical support. If the
original problem no longer exists, perform the Repair Completion Process.
