Step 13
Determine if the system was serviced prior to the problem being reported.
If the system was serviced prior to the problem being reported, contact Toshiba
technical support. If the system was not serviced, perform the Repair Completion
Process.
Repair Completion Process
The purpose of this process is to ensure that the system is operating properly after an FRU has
been replaced or a repair has been performed. To perform this process, begin with Step 1 and
perform the remaining steps as instructed.
Step 1
(A) Verify that all expansion cards and devices that were removed from the system
are properly reinstalled (refer to Chapter 4). (B) Perform Step 2.
Step 2
(A) Verify that the CMOS setup is properly configured. (B) Perform Step 3.
Step 3
(A) Verify that the system configuration and device drivers are properly configured.
(B) Perform Step 4.
Step 4
Perform QA Plus Diagnostics testing on the system and on expansion cards and
devices.
If the test routine reports an error, perform Step 5. If no errors are reported,
perform Step 6.
Step 5
Determine if the reported error indicates the original problem.
If the reported error indicates the original problem, contact Toshiba technical
support. If the reported error indicates a new problem, perform the Problem
Definition Process.
Step 6
(A) Verify that the system configuration is consistent with the original
configuration. (B) Advise the customer of any changes to the system configuration.
