4. Touch Send Data.
A keyboard opens as shown in
Figure 4-39.
5. Enter the command to be sent, a
maximum of 50 characters, by
touching the appropriate keys. The
command is displayed
immediately above the keyboard
as shown in Figure 4-40. To switch
back and forth from lower case to
upper case letters, touch Shift. To
clear an entered command, touch
Clear. To cancel the command and
close the keyboard, touch Cancel.
6. To send the command, touch
Enter.
The command is sent and is
displayed in the display box above
the tabs as shown in Figure 4-41. If
selected, carriage return and line
feed characters are sent with the
command but are not displayed. If
selected, the remote modem
address and the date and time are
displayed with the command.
When the number of commands
exceeds the display capacity of the
scroll box, up and down arrows
appear to the right of the scroll box to enable scrolling through the lines.
