This Procedure Includes the Following:
Removing/Installing Drive Wheel

Removing/Installing Drive Wheel Hub

Removing/Installing Motor
Removing/Installing Motor/Gearbox, Suspension Arm Assembly, Suspension Spring
Hardware
Removing/Installing Casters
REMOVING/INSTALLING DRIVE WHEEL (FIGURE 1)
REMOVING
1. Remove the batteries. Refer to REMOV-
ING/INSTALLING BATTERIES in
SECTION 8 in this manual.
2. Remove the hub cap from drive wheel.
3. Remove the four (4) beveled hex nuts
that secure the hub cap spring and
drive wheel to the drive wheel hub.
INSTALLING
1. Secure the drive wheel and hub cap
spring to the drive wheel hub with
the four (4) beveled hex nuts.
Torque to 13 ft/lbs.
2. Install the hub cap.
3. Install the batteries. Refer to RE-
MOVING/INSTALLING BATTERIES
in SECTION 8 in this manual.
REMOVING/INSTALLING
DRIVE WHEEL HUB
(FIGURE 2)
REMOVING
1. Remove the locknut that secures the
drive wheel hub, washer, and keystock to
the motor/gearbox assembly.
2. Remove the drive wheel hub.
INSTALLING
1. Install the drive wheel hub onto the
motor/gearbox assembly.
2. Secure the drive wheel hub to the motor/
gearbox assembly with locknut, washer
and keystock as shown in FIGURE 2.
Torque locknut to 45 ft/lbs.
