Loss of LVDS Signal

Refer to figure 42. Since the RGB signal is scrambled between the LVDS transmitter
and receiver, a loss of one of the LVDS RGB lines produces noise in the picture, that
is
evident in solid colors such as sky blue.

However, loss of the sync signal along the same LVDS digital video cable or a defective
DMD package (L Board) in this digital TV produces the following image. You can verify
the LVDS sync signal at the receiver input pins or at the input resistors (see figures 41 &
43) to determine if the sync is input to the DMD's L board (see figure 41).
