Shutdown - Power LED Blinks continously
If the power LED blinks continously, the problem is eith
a
n open thermal circuit breaker located above the lamp housing. Refer to figure 38.
Both switches can be checked at plug P4. The thermal breaker is reset by pres
button at the center between its two terminals. Unplug the TV before pressing.
Shutdown - Temperature LED blinks continously
Refer to figure 39. If the temperature LED blinks continously, the TV is either too hot or
the temperture sensor (IC6904) is defective. The eight pin DIP package (IC6904) is
connected to the microprocessor on the IIC bus. If the bus between this IC and the
microprocessor is broken, the TV will not shut down. Therefore if a shutdow
occur because of IC6904, check for air blockage about the color wheel housing,
unstable supply voltage (3.3V) before replacing the IC. Do not disconnect IC6904.
