While Invacare strives t o produce the best o xygen
concentrator i n the market t oday, this o xygen
concentrator can fail t o produce oxygen due to power
failure or d evice malfunction.
– ALWAYS have a backup source of o xygen readily
available.
– In the event t he concentrator fails to produce oxygen,
the concentrator will b riefly alarm signaling the patient
to switch to their backup source of o xygen. R efer to
Troubleshooting for m ore detail.

1.3 Indications For Use

The intended function and use of t he Invacare® Perfecto
Oxygen Concentrator is to provide supplemental o xygen to patients
with respiratory disorders, b y separating nitrogen from room air, b y
way of a molecular sieve. It i s not i ntended to sustain or support l ife.

1.4 Description

The Invacare Perfecto
concentrator i s u sed by patients w ith

respiratory disorders who require supplemental o xygen. The device
is n ot i ntended to sustain or s upport l ife.
The oxygen concentration level o f t he output g as r anges f rom 87%
to 95.6%. The oxygen is d elivered to the patient t hrough the use
of a nasal cannula.
The Invacare Perfecto
concentrator u ses a molecular s ieve and

pressure swing adsorption methodology to produce the oxygen
gas o utput. Ambient a ir e nters t he device, is f iltered and then
compressed. This c ompressed air i s t hen directed toward one of
two nitrogen adsorbing sieve beds.
Concentrated oxygen exits t he opposite end of t he active sieve bed
and is d irected into an oxygen reservoir where it i s d elivered to the
patient.
The Invacare Perfecto
concentrator is c apable of o peration by the

patient i n a home environment o r i n an institutional e nvironment.
Device operates a t a nominal 1 20 VAC/60 Hertz supply.
Service information will be available upon request t o qualified
technical p ersonnel o nly.
