3 Product Overview

3.1 Product Description

Single-layered support system made from a bio-based
high resilience foam. The zoned castellation of the top
layer minimizes surface pressure, which allows for optimal
pressure redistribution.

3.2 Intended Use

This pressure redistribution mattress is intended to be used
in conjunction with an appropriately sized bed frame and
side rails. Check the bed's user manual for the appropriate
size of the mattress to be used.
This product delivers effective pressure redistribution to
users, when the support surface is covered with a cotton,
cotton combination or linen bed sheet, and any one of these
is the only item deployed between the support surface and
the user.
Intended Users
Adults and adolescents limited in their ability to change and
control body position, and/or with limited or no physical
activity in a hospital, long term care or home care setting.

3.2.1 Indications

Suitable both for the prevention of pressure injuries, in cases
where there is a medium to high occurrence risk, and for
the management of pressure injuries at stage 1 or 2, when
combined with an individual and comprehensive pressure
injury protocol.
Suitable for use in home care, residential, nursing and acute
care settings.
