Error messages
This section contains the most common and/or most critical error messages that you might come
across as you are using the ICS Remote Tools (ICSRT) application:

Chapter 9 Troubleshooting the ICS Remote Tool
BRIEF EXPLANATION
Copy operation failed
The ICSRT is unable to connect to the specified database.
Possible causes: Wrong path, executable or database
deleted, low disk space, or not enough memory
The application is unable to open the database
The application is unable to update the shell.ini file
The application is unable to change the attributes of OLP
workbooks.
Warning that the application is unable to update the
CustomerInfo/JobQueue database
The application fails to add a new record to the database
The requested dialog box cannot be opened.
The application is unable to connect to the database in
which case it will try to connect to default database.
The required file is not found in the specific path
Possible issues:

The database is corrupted
•
The application memory is too low
•
The database experienced an internal error
Multi-user environment
•
You are trying to do an operation on a record which is in
use by someone else
•
The record does not exist
•
You do not have the proper permissions to access the
database.
Contact your technical support service and provide them
with the error number. In some cases you may need to
reinstall the ICSRT application.
You entered an invalid folder during database creation/
copying.
Example: The folder C:\User\\Database is invalid. Please
reenter.
