Nextel Connection Manager User Guide
Device Management
The Device Management option allows you to install and set default devices. To access the Device Management
option, follow the steps below.
1 Click Device Management from the main user interface screen.
2 The Default Device screen appears. Click on the connection type you want to set a default modem for. Click
Select. A list of installed devices appears.
3 Select the appropriate device and click OK. Should your preferred device not appear in the list click the Install
New Device button found at the bottom of the screen. Note: If the modem you want to use is not listed, please
continue to the next step.
