Troubleshooting
Corrective Action
Select correct printer type on the
Analyzer.
Review printer's user manual to
determine how to set up printer
to work with the selected
Analyzer printer mode
Connect printer.
If the Analyzer does not
eventually communicate with the
PC software, ensure the cable is
correctly connected and that the
PC hardware can support the
communication port selected.
Make sure no other device is
trying to use the serial port on
your PC. Close any software that
may be using the serial port.
Make sure that Windows
recognizes the serial port in the
Control Panel. Restart VT for
Windows.
