A CI+ module (Common Interface Module), which
is not included in the scope of delivery, is used to
decrypt HD programmes according to the CI+
standard. In some countries, an additional smart
card is required, which is inserted into the CI+
module (see the manufacturer's operating man-
ual).
The TV tuner is located in the trim on the right-
hand side of the boot. The CI+ module is inserted
into the TV tuner.

The CI+ module is designed for use in the
home. The CI+ module can overheat and be
damaged by continuous exposure to high out-
side temperatures.
Make sure that the CI+ module is not

subject to high temperatures for exten-
ded periods of time.
If the CI+ module is damaged, no
encrypted channels can be received.
The TV tuner can receive programmes in Dolby
Digital Plus.

The TV tuner automatically sets the TV standard.
