10.4 Connection systems

The overvoltage protection components must always be placed next to the area to be protected,
e.g. at the entry point to the control cabinet. All 24 V cables which exit the protected area must
be routed through an overvoltage protector.
Further information about overvoltage protection is provided in the SINAMICS S120 Manual
"Booksize Power Units".
