2 System Operation
The actions at the end of the day are important to the operation of the
Centrifuge.
End of Day Procedures
Ensure that the following conditions exist at the end of the day:
•
The Centrifuge module processed all sample tubes.
•
No sample tubes remain inside the module or at the gate.
•
All events are resolved and acknowledged.
•
No spilled fluids remain on any surfaces within the Centrifuge module.
Turning the Centrifuge Module On
Note You must turn on the Centrifuge module for at least 30 minutes
before operation.
Perform the following steps to turn the Centrifuge module on:

2. Open the access panel where the drive unit, interface computer, robot
computer, and UPS are located.

All service and maintenance doors are secured by locking screws.
The E-stop button is pulled out.
The Centrifuge module does not contain sample tubes.
Empty cassettes are positioned correctly on the scale, the buffer
area, or in the Hettich unit.
The Hettich unit key is turned fully clockwise.
The Hettich unit power switch is on.
All operator access covers and doors are fully closed.
The LineMaster and Router software are running.
The track is running and the Centrifuge station gates are homed.
