    Gammapilot M FMG60 4 to 20 mA HART Safety instructions Safety instructions Designated use The Gammapilot M is a compact transmitter for non-contact level, level limit, density and concentration measurement. The measuring range of a single Gammapilot M extends up to 2 m.

    Safety instructions Gammapilot M FMG60 4 to 20 mA HART Hazardous area Measuring systems for use in hazardous environments are accompanied by separate "Ex docu- mentation", which is an integral part of these documentation. Strict compliance with the instal- lation instructions and ratings as stated in this supplementary documentation is mandatory.
  • Page 5 A handling permit is required for operating a plant which uses gamma radiation. Application for the permit must be made to the state government (Land) or the authority responsible (State Offices for Environmental Protection, Trade Inspection Offices, etc.). The Endress+Hauser sales organization will be pleased to help you obtain the permit.
