Maximum number of connections to IO controllers
A connection to a redundant S7-1500H system is permitted for the ET 200SP R1.
Maximum configuration
• 64 ET 200SP I/O modules
• 1 m backplane bus (without interface module)
Maximum amount of I/O data
Gross data length (for input data and output data):
• 1440 bytes
The number of maximum net data lengths for input and output data depends on the number
and type of I/O modules used.
Calculation of the max. net data length:
The max. net data length is calculated according to the following formula:
Max. net data length = "Max. gross length" – "Total number of I/O submodules" – "Number of
mixed I/O modules (input and output data)" – "9 bytes for interface module and server
module"
The result of the calculation of the maximum net data length applies equally to input and
output data.
