With Sysmac Studio version 1.29 or higher, you can use the IO-Link Master Simple Settings function for setting param-
eters and editing I/O allocation settings in one screen.
Refer to 8-2-4 IO-Link Master Simple Settings on page 8-15 for details on the IO-Link Master Simple Settings.

The default data size for each IO-Link device is 2 input bytes or 2 output bytes. The maximum data size for each de-
vice is 32 bytes.
For example, for OMRON IO-Link devices such as the E2E and E3Z, the default values can be used, and no additional
I/O entries are necessary.
For other I/O devices, such as those from other companies, additional I/O entries for the I/O data sizes of those devi-
ces are required.
