a. Start the Tracer TU service tool to establish a connection with the UC400 Controller. If no
firmware is present, the following message displays: This UC400 Controller has no
application code loaded. Please launch File Transfer wizard and load an appropriate
configuration.
b. Click O O K K . To load or upgrade the firmware, follow the procedure in the TU Online Help,
Upgrading Controller Firmware under the book, Managing Configurations, Firmware, and
Programs.

Managing Points, for an explanation of available configuration options.
There are two main configuration options:
• Use the Tracer TU Configuration Screen to create a factory configuration.
