CHAPTER 5 MECHANICAL SYSTEM

2.8.2.2 Removing the Pickup Roller Unit

1) Remove the separation roller unit. (See
2.8.2.1 "Removing the Separation
Roller Unit")
2) Free the 2 hooks [1], and detach the
pickup roller [2].
3) Free the 2 hooks [3], and detach the
pickup roller [4].

2.8.2.3 Removing the Original Sensor/Pre-Registration Sensor

1) Remove the ADF motor unit. (See
2.8.1.3 "Removing the ADF Motor
Unit")
2) Free the 2 hooks [1], and detach the
original sensor [2].
3) Free the 2 hooks [3], and detach the pre-
registration sensor [4].
