COCK CABLE ADJUSTMENT
Remove the control panel (page 8-8).
Install the engine switch knob (1) to the engine switch
cam (2).
Turn the engine switch knob to OFF.
Confirm that the engine switch knob is in the horizontal
position and that the projection of the switch cam
tension plate (3) is placed in the groove (4) of the
engine switch cam.
Confirm that the distance from the cock cable holder (1)
to the cock cable end (2) is as shown.
Confirm that the fuel cock lever (3) is touching the
stopper of the fuel cock body (4).
If the fuel cock lever is not touching the stopper, loosen
the 4 x 6 mm pan screw (5) and adjust the position of
the inner cable (6).
After adjustment, tighten the 4 x 6 mm pan screw to the
specified torque.
TORQUE: 2.3 N·m (0.23 kgf·m, 1.7 lbf·ft)
CHOKE CABLE ADJUSTMENT
Remove the following parts:
– Fuel tank (page 6-5)
– Control panel (page 8-8)
Install the engine switch knob (1) to the engine switch
cam (2).
Switch the engine switch knob to OFF.
Confirm that the engine switch knob is in the horizontal
position and that the projection of the switch cam
tension plate (3) is placed in the groove of the engine
switch cam. Make sure that the choke cable spring (4)
is taut.
Turn the choke lever (1) clockwise and check that the
choke lever is fully opened.
