With the rubber facing away from the spindle, install

the seal over the pilot tool.

Install the flanged tool with threaded rod onto the

spindle end face. Using four of the retainer plate

mounting bolts, secure the tool as shown.

Section 25 - Four-Wheel Drive Front Axle - Chapter 10

Install the seal driver tool over the pilot tool so that it

is resting on the seal.

Install the thrust bearing (1), flat washer (2) and nut

(2) onto the threaded rod.

Use a wrench to tighten the nut.
