Remove the two bearing thrust washers and the

needle thrust bearing.

Remove the snap ring from inside the clutch plate

Remove the backing plate, fr iction plates and

separator plates.

Remove Belleville washers as follows:

1. Install the compression sleeve with the notch

CAS1903-3 over the piston return Belleville

washers. The opening in the sleeve must be over

the ends of the snap ring.

2. Compress the Belleville washers with a hydraulic

press and remove the snap ring.

4. Note orientation of Belleville washers and lube

Turn the shaft over. Use a bearing puller to remove

the (1st-2nd) dr iven gear, two bear ing thr ust
