4 Use the (cursor up/down) buttons to adjust
the setting.
5 Repeat steps 2 and 3 to make other settings.
6 When you're done, press ENTER to leave the
System Setup menu.
Volume control setting
• Vol. Ctrl Off – This unit does not control the volume
of the plasma display
• Vol. Ctrl On – When this unit is switched to an input
that used the plasma display (DVD, for example), the
volume on the plasma display is muted so only sound
from this unit is heard.
Function setting for HDD/DVD
• HDD -> None/PDP1–5/PDPTV – Matches the HDD/
DVD function of this unit with a numbered video
input on the plasma display. For example, HDD ->
PDP2 matches the HDD/DVD input with video input
2 on the plasma display.
Function setting for digital input
• DIG -> None/PDP1–5/PDPTV – Matches the digital
input function of this unit with a numbered video
input on the plasma display. For example, DIG ->
PDP3 matches the digital input with video input 3 on
the plasma display.
Function setting for analog input
• ANA -> None/PDP1–5/PDPTV – Matches the TV
function of this unit with a numbered video input on
the plasma display. For example, ANA -> PDP1
matches the analog input with video input 1 on the
plasma display.
Note
• The 3-ringed SR+ cable from Pioneer is
commercially available under the part number
ADE7095. Contact the Pioneer Customer Support
division for more information on obtaining an SR+
cable.
• You won't be able to use the remote sensor of this
unit with the CONTROL IN jack of this unit connected
to the CONTROL OUT jack of your plasma display.
You can use the remote sensor of the plasma display
(even in standby) as long as the power isn't switched
off.
• The number of video inputs available will depend on
the plasma display you've connected.
• The PDP5 input may be called 'PC Input' (or similar)
on your plasma display.
• The SR+ setting remains in effect even in standby.
