Choosing an appropriate color mode

Your monitor provides various color modes that are suitable for different types of images. See
Color Mode on page 43
Go to Color > Color Mode for a desired color mode.
The computer's color profile (ICC profile) may not best suit your monitor. If you want to make sure to obtain the
accurate color matching representation, change the computer's ICC profile to ensure the computer works better
with the monitor. Visit
model for instructions. Alternatively, enable the ICCsync function from Display Pilot
Display Pilot manual for details.
Working with two video sources with one set of keyboard and
mouse (KVM Switch)
If you have two computer systems, you might find yourself busy going back and forth between
several sets of keyboard and mouse to control each display separately. Now with the KVM
feature and sufficient I/O ports on one monitor, you can work with one set of keyboard and
mouse only. With appropriate connections, the display is switched to the available input while
the keyboard and mouse control is switched as well.
Establishing KVM connections
1. Connect two video sources properly as instructed below or as indicated by the label near
I/O ports on the rear of the monitor.
• USB-C™ connection
• DisplayPort and USB (upstream) connections
2. Connect a keyboard and a mouse to the USB ports on the monitor. Refer to the following
illustration.
• If HDMI is used as the second source for KVM Switch, you need to manually change the setting from KVM
Switch > USB > HDMI after cable connections. Note that you will not be able to use MST and KVM at the
same time as MST works only when the video is input via DP.
• To use MST and KVM at the same time, see
37
for more information.
