Playback with Disc Menu
DVD/VCD
Some, if not all, DVD discs have menus recorded on them from
which you can select titles or chapters or the language for the
subtitles . With such discs you can do the following:

Press the TITLE button when a DVD disc is playing.
A disc-specific menu will be displayed on the TV screen.
If the menu appeared does not give you choices of
titles/chapters, try pressing the RETURN button. A Root Menu
may appear depending on the disc.
Use the g/t/5/b buttons to select an option from the menu.

With some discs you can alternatively use the numeric buttons.

Press the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
Notes
< With some DVD discs, pressing the TITLE or RETURN button
causes playback to restart from the beginning of the disc.
< The language of your choice for voice and subtitles can be set as
default. See page 29.
Direct Playback
VCD/CD/MP3
You can select a track directly using the numeric (0~9 / +10) buttons
< In play or stop mode, press the numeric button to select a track
you want. The system will go to the beginning of the selected
track and start playing it.
< If the track number is more than 10, use the +10 button. The
number will increase 10 whenever you press +10 once.
For example: to select the track of 25.

< This function is not available for DVD.
< If the PBC function is set to on, you cannot select the track on the
Video CD (Ver. 2.0) using numeric buttons directly. About PBC,
see page 21.
