CAUTION
Make sure the power is OFF on all the equipment before making

connections.

Read the instructions of each component you intend to use with
this unit.
Be sure to insert each plug securely. To prevent hum and noise, do
not bundle the connection cords with the power cord or speaker
cord.
SPEAKERS
A
< Connect the provided speaker cables (or other suitable cables)
from the speaker terminals to the terminals of this unit. Be sure to
match the color of the cables with the color of the terminals.
< Be sure that the positive + terminal of the speaker is connected
to the corresponding + terminal of this unit, and that negative _
matches _.
How to connect :
Pull down the lever, insert the stripped and
twisted end of the cord, then pull up the lever.
Make sure it is fastened securely by pulling the
cord lightly. Make sure none of the plastic
insulation is inserted in the opening.
SUBWOOFER OUT jack

Connect a commercially available powered subwoofer. A
subwoofer is optional and not required to enjoy your TEAC DV-
C200 DVD receiver. Adding a subwoofer will enhance bass
sounds.

Connection to a TV or monitor.
< It is highly recommended that you connect this unit to a TV
directly. If you connect this unit to the TV through a video
cassette recorder (VCR) and play copy protected DVD discs, the
playback picture might be distorted.
VIDEO or S-VIDEO jacks

Connect the VIDEO out jack on your DV-C200 to the VIDEO IN jack
on your TV with a quality RCA cable. (or) Connect the S-VIDEO out
jack on your DV-C200 to the S-VIDEO in jack on your TV using a
quality S-Video cable. If you have the option of both Video and S-
video jacks, use the S-video connection. S-Video provides a
clearer, sharper and more color accurate picture than the
"composite' video connection.
By connecting S-VIDEO jacks, you can enjoy a clearer picture. If
your TV has an S-VIDEO jack, connect them with an S-VIDEO
cable.
When S-VIDEO jacks are connected, you don't have to connect
the VIDEO jack.
