Presetting Radio Stations
You can preset 40 stations for FM and AM randomly. Before tuning,
make sure that you have turned down the volume to a minimum
listening level.

Press the TUNER (BAND) button on the remote control to select
Tuner function.

In TUNER mode, press the TUNER (BAND) button to select
desired FM or AM band.

Press and hold the TUNING buttons (‡/°) until the frequency
indicator starts to change automatically, then release the button.
Scanning stops when the system tunes in to a station.

Press the MEMORY button.
A preset number "P00" and "Memory" indicator appear on the
front panel display.

Press the PRESET CALL buttons (‡/°) on the remote control
to select the preset number you want.
You can use the numeric buttons (0~9 / +10) on the remote
control to key in a preset number directly.

Press the MEMORY button again to store the station.
If you do not press this button within 5 seconds or if you press
any other buttons, the station won't be stored in the system.
The preset number and "Memory" indicator disappear.
Repeat Step 2 to 6 to store other stations.
Listening to the Radio
Make sure the supplied or external antennas are connected as
described on pages 12 and 13 of this owner's manual.
Preset your favorite radio stations into the system's memory first

Press the TUNER (BAND) button to select FM or AM.

Press the PRESET CALL buttons (‡/°) repeatedly to select the
preset station you want.
Or use the numeric buttons (0-9 / +10) to key in a preset number,
you can select the preset station directly.
To access preset numbers 1 through 9, press the corresponding
number on the remote. To access preset numbers 10 through 19,
press the +10 button once and then the corresponding second
number. Each time the +10 number is pressed, the display will
increment 10 presets.
For example (To access preset number 34): press +10, +10, +10, 4

Adjust the volume level by pressing the VOLUME/CONTROL
buttons (+/–).
To listen to non-preset radio stations
For manual tuning, press the TUNING buttons (‡/°)
repeatedly.
For automatic tuning, press and hold the TUNING buttons
(‡/°) until the frequency indicator starts to change
automatically, then release the button.
To turn off the radio
Press the POWER switch.
If an FM program is noisy
Press the FM MODE button on the remote control so that
"MONO" appears on the front panel display. There will be no
stereo effect, but the reception will improve. Press the button
again to restore the stereo effect.
If the program is not stereo, the unit is automatically turned to
mono mode.
To improve reception
Reorient the supplied antennas.
