Speaker Feature
The PS6 Portable Station is equipped with a speaker that allows you to listen to
voice announcements, voice messages, and to hear station tones and signals.
You may also use the speaker when on a call to hear the outside party in an
orator mode.
1. While on a call press the Speaker key to turn on the speaker and hear the
outside party.
2. Press the Speaker key a second time to turn off the speaker and begin
talking to the outside party.
NOTES:
• The speaker feature is used to listen to a call in orator mode.
• The called party will not hear your voice when the speaker is on.
• If you want to turn the speaker on during a phone conversation, press the
Speaker key. (The Speaker key toggles on/off the speaker.)
• Press up or down arrow to adjust the speaker volume.
Station Password
To activate/deactivate Dial Lock or Directory Lock, you need to register a
four-digit password in advance.
1. When the Portable Station is idle, press [Menu][5][5] to display the
Password menu.
2. Press [Menu].
3. If a password is already registered, enter the four-digit password
(0000-9999).
4. Enter a new four-digit password.
5. Reenter the new four-digit password. You will hear a confirmation tone to
indicate that the new password has been successfully saved. If you enter
the wrong password, you will hear a warning tone.
