Headset Operation

The PS6 Portable Station has an integrated headset jack to provide for
hands-free communications.

Placing a Call with the Headset

With an optional headset attached to your Portable Station, you can talk on your
PS6 hands-free.
1. Connect a headset to the Portable Station. Insert the plug of the headset
into the headset jack on the Portable Station.
2. All PS6 feature operation remains the same. Headsets equipped with a
hookswitch allow calls to be answered and disconnected by pressing the
switch for three seconds. To answer a call, press [Send] on the PS6
Portable Station. To end a call, press [End] on the PS6 Portable Station.

Help Display

Browse this list if you have forgotten how to operate Omegatrek. When an item
is displayed, press [Menu] to change the setting.
1. When the Portable Station is idle, press [Menu] [9] to display the Help
Display menu.
2. Press [Menu].
3. Press up or down arrow to select a programming item.

Key Lock

The Key Lock feature keeps you from inadvertently operating the Portable
Station by hitting a key while carrying the Portable Station.
1. When the Portable Station is idle, press and hold [*] for one second. You
hear a confirmation tone to indicate that Key Lock has been successfully
activated. The Portable Station will go back to the idle state.
