Charger Tone
The charger tone lets you know that the Portable Station has been properly
placed in the charger.
1. When the Portable Station is idle, press [Menu] [4] [3] to display the
Charger Tone menu.
2. Press [Menu].
3. Press up or down arrow to select ON or OFF.
4. Press [Menu]. A confirmation tone will sound and the Portable Station
goes back to the idle state.
Dial Lock
If you activate the Dial Lock feature, you can prevent unauthorized individuals
from making calls using your PS6 Portable Station. The password required to
invoke the Dial Lock feature is programmed using Menu [5][5].
To activate the Dial Lock feature:
1. When the Portable Station is idle, press [Menu] [2] [1] to display the Dial
Lock menu.
2. Press [Menu]. If a password is not registered, you will hear a warning tone
to indicate that you cannot activate the Dial Lock feature.
3. Enter the four-digit password. You will hear a confirmation tone to
indicate that the Dial Lock feature has been successfully activated. The
