Quick Mode

Quick Mode allows you to access system dial tone or answer a call by removing
the PS6 Portable Station from the Charging Cradle. If you have accessed
intercom dial tone using Quick Mode and do not press a key for 20 seconds
after you pick up the Portable Station from the charger, the PS6 will generate a
warning tone.
1. When the Portable Station is idle, press [Menu] [5] [2] to display the Quick
Mode menu.
2. Press [Menu].
3. Press up or down arrow to select ON or OFF.
4. Press [Menu]. You will hear a confirmation tone and the Portable Station
will go back to the idle state.
NOTE:
• The capability to access outside dial tone using Quick Mode must be
enabled by your system administrator. At default, Quick Mode allows you
to answer a call or access intercom dial tone.

Quick Mode Guard

If your PS6 Portable Station has been enabled by your system administrator to
automatically access an outside line using the Quick Mode feature, invoking the
Quick Mode Guard feature enables the PS6 Portable Station to generate a
warning tone and drop the outside line if you do not press a key for 20 seconds.
1. When the Portable Station is idle, press [Menu] [5] [3] to display the Quick
Mode Guard menu.
2. Press [Menu].
3. Press up or down arrow to select ON or OFF.
4. Press [Menu]. You will hear a confirmation tone and the Portable Station
will go back to the idle state.
