By hand, slide the guide block to position the
blade guides approximately 0.016" behind
the teeth gullets (see Figure 51), then re-
tighten the guide block cap screw to secure
the setting.

Make sure that the blade teeth will not con-
tact the guides when the blade is against the
rear support bearing during the cut or the
blade teeth will be damaged.
The lower blade guides are adjusted in the same
manner as the upper blade guides. However,
some controls are different. Refer to Figure 52 to
become familiar with these controls.
