Ventilated Broiling

Broiling may be done by selecting

(Ventilated Broiling) with the function selector dial, because the hot air completely envelops the food that is to be

cooked.

Set the temperature if a temperature different from the pre-set one is required. Introduce the food to be cooked,

positioning the broiling pan as close to the infra-red element as possible.

Close the door and let the oven operate until broiling is done.

Broiling with the oven door closed.

Always use suitable protective gloves when inserting/removing the broiling pan from the

oven (see next page).

Broiling

Very important: the broil element must always be used

with the oven door closed.

• Position the broiling pan on the first or second

level from the top (fig. 4.3).

• Turn on the broil element, as explained in the

preceding paragraphs and let the oven preheat

for about 5 minutes with the door closed.
