NOTE 1: Always check the maximum charging voltage and current allowable for the batteries when first
installing the inverter. These settings should be appropriately programmed into the inverter prior to
commissioning.
NOTE 2: Overvoltage category of the battery input is II.
CAUTION: Before connecting SimpliPHI batteries be sure that its breaker is in the OFF position.
Please follow below steps to implement battery connection:
Step 1: Check the nominal voltage of batteries. The nominal input voltage for inverter is 48 VDC.
Step 2: For each battery to inverter connection, it is required that you have one negative and one positive,
each originating from opposite ends of each string of batteries.
Step 3: Remove insulation sleeve ( 10 mm) and insert bare cable end into a 1 1/32" width battery lug.
The cable size of each inverter is shown as below:

Step 4: Insert battery wires according to polarities indicated on the terminal block and tighten the
terminal screws to 36-inch pounds. Make sure polarity at both the battery and the inverter/charger is
connected correctly. Use the provided bolts and washers to secure the battery cables.
