CD-ROM and DVD-ROM Drives

CD-ROM drives and DVD-ROM drives can be inserted and
removed from the computer MultiBay without shutting down the
computer.

Removing a CD-ROM Drive or DVD-ROM Drive

1. Remove the compact disc from the media tray.
2. Close the tray.
3. With the MultiBay facing you, tilt the computer up 1.
4. Slide the MultiBay release latch 2 toward the opening of the
MultiBay.
5. Pull the drive out of the MultiBay by grasping the notch on
the bottom of the drive 3.
