To view or enter information about an optional docking
base—Select the docking base in the Manageable Devices
list. View or enter information in the following text boxes.
NOTE:
Devices list unless the computer is docked.
To view or enter information about any battery pack in
the system (the computer battery bay, the computer
MultiBay, or a bay in an optional docking base)—Select
the battery pack by number in the Manageable Devices list.
The battery pack numbers correspond to the following
locations: (1) Computer battery bay, (2) Computer
MultiBay, (2) Expansion base right MultiBay or
convenience base battery charging bay, and (4)
Expansion base left MultiBay or convenience base
MultiBay. (Docking base bay availability varies by
model and configuration.)
View or enter information in the following text boxes:
—The Serial Number box is Read Only.
—The Asset Tag box can be used to describe the battery
pack using no more than 8 alphanumeric characters.
NOTE:
the Manageable Devices list unless the computer is
docked.
