<How to enter a reel number>
The cursor in [ ] at the top on the editing screen is called "reel number cursor", while
the cursor in the character options is called "character selection cursor".
You can move the reel number cursor by using the [REWIND] or [F FWD] key, while
you can move the character selection cursor by using the [+] or [-] key. By pressing
and holding down the [+] or [-] key, the cursor moves fast.
Character selection cursor
At the bottom of the screen, the following four functions are available.
[INS]: Inserts a space at the right of the reel number cursor position.
[DEL]: Deletes a character on the reel number cursor position.
[OK]: Fixes the reel number entered.
[QUIT]: Quits the reel number editing.
<Example of reel number entry>
1) Use the [REWIND] or [F FWD] key to move the reel number cursor to the position where
you can edit.
2) Use the [+] or [-] key to move the character selection cursor to the desired character.
3) Repeat the steps 1) and 2) above until you complete entering the desired reel number.
The maximum length of a reel number string is 8 characters.
<How to delete a character>
1) Use the [REWIND] or [F FWD] key to move the reel number cursor to the character you
want to delete.
2) Use the [+] or [-] key to move the character selection cursor to "[DEL]".
3) Press the [MENU/ENTER] key to delete the selected character.
All characters on the right of the deleted character are shifted to the left.
If you move the reel number cursor to the leftmost character in step 1), you

can delete a whole reel number by repeating step 3) as many times as required.
<How to insert a character>
1) Use the [REWIND] or [F FWD] key to move the reel number cursor to the position where
you want to insert a character.
2) Use the [+] or [-] key to move the character selection cursor to "[INS]".
3) Press the [MENU/ENTER] key.
4) Use the [+] or [-] key to select a desired character to be inserted.
4) After editing the reel number, press the [MENU/ENTER] key.
The edited reel number is set and the display shows the lower right screen..
