below. The user of the Philips Avent breast pump should assure that it is used in such an environment.

Mains power quality
should be that of a
typical residential or
hospital environment.
If the user of the Philips
Avent breast pump
requires continued
operation during power
mains interruptions,
it is recommended
that the Philips Avent
breast pump be
powered from an
uninterruptible power
supply or a battery.
Interruptible electric
supply can cause the
breast pump to turn
off. This is acceptable
as this will not lead to
unacceptable risks.
Power frequency
magnetic fields
should be at levels
characteristic of a
typical location in a
typical residential or
hospital environment.
