Error message

This section lists the errors that may occur during F160 operation, along with
their probable causes and remedies.
The letters used in the reference page column represent the following refer-
ence materials:
Setup: Setup Manual
Conv.: Conversational Menu Operation Manual (this manual)
Comm.: Communications Reference Manual
Check the settings under SYS/Camera settings.
Reason: Cameras other than F160-S1 and F150-S1A cannot use
Intelligent Lighting.
Correct the settings.
Check the following:
- Are the Camera Cables connected to the F160?
- Is the Camera Cable disconnected from the Camera?
- Check the settings under SYS/Camera settings then cycle the
power.
Specify a different file.
Change the file attributes so that it is write enabled.
Check the following points and re-select a file.
- Is the file read-only?
- Does the Memory Card have sufficient space to save the file?
Change the file attributes so that it is write enabled.
Check the Camera settings under SYS/Camera settings.
Reason: Only F160-S1 and F150-S1A Camera shutter speeds can
be adjusted from the menu.
Turn OFF the power to the F160, and check for the following items
before restarting the F160.
- The cable is connected properly.
- The communications specifications for the external device and
the F160 are the same.
- The external device is operating properly.
Reason: Data transfer has been interrupted due to a communica-
tions error in communications between the F160 and an external
device.
If the same error message appears after restart, it may mean that
the F160 is faulty. Contact your OMRON representative.
Select the correct transfer file and re-execute the data transfer.
Reason: The wrong file has been selected.
Change one of the colors.
Delete the files in the directory to be deleted or move the files to
another directory.
Reason: Only empty directories can be deleted.
Specify the directory name and press the ENT Key.
Check the directory name. The following characters cannot be
used:

/ : , ; * ? " < > ! & .
