If you are replacing a memory module, remove the existing memory module:
1. Release the grounding tape (1) that secures the memory module shield to the heat sink and the solid-state
drive shield.
2. Use the tabs (2) on the memory module shield to lift and remove the shield (3) from the computer.
The memory module shield is available using spare part number N18250-001.
When installing the memory module shield, be sure that the edges of the shield fit into all the clips (4) that
are built into the system board.
