Back Up Battery
In the event of a power outage, the unit may be operated
by a backup battery system.
1. Open pedestal door and remove the chain from door which will allow
door to fall.
2. Remove 4 screws to remove the access panel (in locations shown
below) and the chain attached to the front door and the unit. Once
removed will expose the battery pack.
3. Install 4 AA batteries into battery pack.
4. Reverse steps 1 to 2.
